The Father's Love

Image
And he said, A certain man had two sons:    And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.   And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.   And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.   And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.     And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.   And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!   I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,    And am no more worthy to be call

David's Song of Praise

Image
And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hands of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul. And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou safest me from violence. I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. The Resurrection of Christ

Image
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. ACTS 2:22-24 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up to Christ to sit on his throne; he seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. This Jesus hath God raised up, wherever we all are witnesses. ACTS 2:29-32 Listen to today's message: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/votwm/2017/06/04/the-resurrection-of-christ
