It Was Jesus
But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. John 20: 11-14.
It was Jesus who laid down his life for us that we might have life in him. He loved us just that much that he suffered and die for us. It was no other gods or any person but Jesus. It was Jesus who was nailed to the cross for the whole world that all might be saved. Yes, it was Jesus who carried the cross for you and shed his blood for you that you might be forgiven of your sins.
It was Jesus who rose again from the dead and defeated death and the grave for you. Yes, it was Jesus. And because Jesus yet lives, you can live through him by accepting him as your Lord and Saviour today. Will you give your life to Christ today? Don't put it off another day . Do it today for tomorrow just might be to late.
